Throughout the month of October, you can discover a curated selection of Jamii’s homeware creators in the Jamii pop-up in the MADE Tottenham Court Road showroom, including pieces from Tihara Smith!
What is Jamii?
Jamii is a marketplace and discovery platform championing Black-owned British businesses. Jamii are on a mission to make shopping at Black British brands as easy, convenient and available to all. Launched in 2016, their primary initiative is the Jamii discount card which can be used in 180 Black-owned businesses across haircare, skincare, homeware, stationery, clothing and more.

Jamii x MADE Collaboration
This Black History Month, Jamii has collaborated with furniture and home accessories company MADE to celebrate Black British homeware creators.
For the whole of October, Jamii and MADE are celebrating Black British talent, culture and identity through their collaboration. Visitors to the MADE Soho showroom in London have the opportunity to discover and shop from a curated selection of Jamii homeware creators. Each piece in the showroom has a QR code which takes you to the Jamii website, where you can shop the full Jamii x MADE collection.

Lolly & Kiks create African print handmade accessories including tote bags, clutches, head-wraps and more.
Maureen Luxe Studio
Maureen Luxe Studio creates handcrafted and eco-friendly home decor. All items have been hand poured using Jesmonite, an eco-friendly composite material in minimalist colour palette to create timeless pieces for the home.
Bespoke Binny
Bespoke Binny offers a range of handmade homeware and gifts items made from West African cloth. The products range includes pillows, lampshades, aprons, oven gloves, table runners and card holders.

LÁAYO is a lifestyle brand that focuses on creating timeless, ethically sourced clothing and homeware. The home collection includes placements, aprons, rugs and more.
Tihara Smith
Tihara Smith creates lifestyle pieces inspired by the Caribbean. Our home range includes art prints, handmade wall hangings and candles which can all be discovered here.
