About Tihara Smith’s Raffia Embroidery Workshop
Tihara Smith is a fashion designer and textile artist inspired by Caribbean culture and heritage, known for blending vibrant colours, tropical motifs, and traditional Caribbean crafts into distinctive designs. She specialises in raffia embroidery, taking inspiration from traditional Caribbean straw crafts to create beautiful pieces and was recently selected as one of the Kings Foundation 35 Under 35.
Tihara's Raffia Embroidery Workshops are a hands-on session where participants:
- Learn the basics of raffia embroidery.
- Create their own raffia embroidery piece to take home.
- Discover the history and significance of Caribbean straw crafts.
This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to explore a new craft, unwind creatively, and connect with the Caribbean through design.
As part of this giveaway, the lucky winner will receive two tickets to the Raffia Embroidery Workshop on 12th July 2025, hosted by Tihara Smith.

3. Prize Details
The winner will receive:
- Two tickets to the Raffia Embroidery Workshop for 12th July 2025.
The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. However, if you are unable to attend the Raffia Embroidery Workshop on 12th July 2025, you may contact Tihara Smith to request a friend to attend in your place, subject to Tihara’s discretion.
